There is alot of complaints about melee being underpowered in PvP, and honestly you can see the results by the amount of players who choose to play the melee classes. Very few to none. I dont know 1 person who PvPs on a Bounty Hunter, Swordsinger, Maestro, etc.....

Lineage has so many classes, when people play all of them the game has more variety and is more fun imo.

This suggestion, would hopefully help promote the underplayed classes to be played.


Suggestion:

Boost/Increase the passive Pdef/Mdef/Patk(for specialized weapon) skills on all melee classes.

Boost them all, for all melee classes, then make a second boost to the most underplayed ones, BD/SwS/BH/WS.


Obviously this wouldnt make balance in one swoop. There is a good chance certain classes would become to strong. So after the boost we would need a team or a poll to find out what classes are too strong. Once the classes are found then they could have there passive Pdef/Mdef/Patk(for specialized weapon) skills lowered a small amount at a time until we feel the balance.


The main goal would be to see the PvP field have nukers, dorfs, archers, sws, etc.... One person who is a serious L2 player tell me that would not be cool to see....


If the GM team thinks this is a good idea, and needs people to do a bit of testing before it was implemented, once I get back in game I would volunteer to work on it alot.
