First of all, let me say this: Continuum is a clan in which you will have fun.

Let me introduce myself properly however:

I've been playing Lineage since open US beta, grinding it out on Sieghardt. My first major clan was Helvirahel and I stuck with them until the end of my tenure on the official servers (well really until Shylara bit it lol). I was able to raise a Silver Ranger to level 60 by the time C4 came out and I quit ... you see.. around the end of the C2 testing on the PTS, I had found the world of private servers and was slowly moving from the live servers until finally I just cancelled. I've GM'd on one of the major servers that no longer exist, and I love to help, so please.. if you need something, just ask.. if I can help you I will.

I am a single Daddy of two little girls, so my time is precious in game, but we make it work. They love it when Dad "makes the girl kill the mean goblin guy" :)

I'm just glad I found this server and the community that supports it.



About us -

We have aspirations for world domination, but also understand the need for proper preparation. Thus, we have a "Need before Greed" philosophy. Meaning that we all work as one for the good of the Clan, not for individual gain.

We are like a family -

We will help with crafting your gear, gaining levels, and helping when in need. I will not, however, tolerate begging and constant attention. I have no qualms whatsoever dropping people out of the clan who I feel "just aren't working out".

I have no level requirements, nor do I want you to grind until you are bleeding from your eyes. I want you to have fun. I want you to play a class in which you LOVE to play. I expect clan-mates to follow my direction, but also to challenge decisons you feel are not proper.

PvP -

This is an open PvP game. I expect you to handle yourself in a 1v1 situation. Remember.. you win some you lose some... don't take it personally.


No one will be left without proper equipment given time.

Recruitment

Pretty Slim in start-up mode here...

1. You must speak and read English. Call me uncultured, but it's the only language I know and I have no time for "jajajajaxx0x0x0x" ****.

2. I prefer an EST timezone, however it's not an actual requirement.

3. I don't care how old you are, I care how old you act. Just be yourself, and if yourself is an idiot, bye bye.

4. NO BEGGING. FOR ANYTHING. Ask in chat or PM me, but do not spam it. If anyone can help you, they will.

5. Playtime - no real requirement, but if no one has seen you for a week, and no one knows where you are you will be considered for removal.

I will take any and all classes, but let's be honest.. no one wants a clan full of Archers and Nukers ONLY. So - I am offering extra help with leveling/equipping for the following classes:

Bishop
Elven Elder
Shillien Knight
Blade Dancer
OverLord


We are going to have a dedicated Raid group which will consist of:

1 Heavy Tank (SK, or DA)
1 Healer (Cardinal)
3 Nukers (Necro being one - Screamer, Muse, and Archmage)
2 Melee DD (Archer, Dagger, Tyrant etc.)
1 Shillen Saint
1 Spectral Dancer

I tried heading to the Continuum forums, but it seems that there's several problems with it. I can't register for a new account for the forums (any username i've typed in, returns: disallowed username, and i tried some pretty obscure ones :/ ). And it seems, pretty out of date as well. So... hopefully it's not too bad that I just post a reply here.

1. Tell us why you think Continuum is the clan for you.
I've heard good things about the clan, the leader (SumTingWong) seems helpful and friendly in world chat, i've asked him for help one time (probably wouldnt remember me :) ) and he answered my question readily. More so though, I met another member, Twinks, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. And, if she is a reflection of the rest of the clan I can tell it'll be the right place for me.

2. Tell us about yourself ingame (class/lvl, our recruiting policy is 65+) and out of game. Let us know what kind of addition you will make to the clan.
I'm assuming the level requirement is something of the past because its dated Sept 06. But, I'm Jehkel in game, a Shillien Knight, level 68. Disclosing too much out of game information for now I'm not too, too comfortable with, but I am a college student, currently on vacation visiting Hong Kong, China, and Beijing. I live on the east coast, but attend college in the west coast. I'm on quite a bit, as I only work part time for the summer. As for an addition, I would love to help the clan in anyway possible. Whether it's to help other new players in the future, be a tank for a raid, or assist in pvp/castle sieges.

3.Include your in game history.
Well, as long as i'm being honest, I've played many MMO's but I'm relatively new to Lineage 2 in general. I know my class well enough, although we can always learn more. Was a part of the clan 300. My friend and I joined because we found the game to be extremely not newbie friendly and needed some friendly assistance (and the guildmaster was nice enough not to kill us on sight and filled us in about the workings of the game, economy, and give us the opportunity to use the clan buffer. prior to that, leveling was rather difficult :P ).

4. Let us know who directed you here and what members you have already played with.
As I've said, I've played mainly with Twinks, and at first I confused alliances with clans (oops... ) so I'm not at all sure who from Continuum I've played with other than her.

Currently, I use ventrilo, but would be more than happy to download TS.

to add a bit more to it lets see:

Continuum was honored by becoming the very first Level 8 clan in GodZ's history.

We currently own Aden Castle, and hold Bandit's Stronghold as our Clan Hall. We've come a long ways since the recruitment post, but we are constantly evolving as the server grows and changes. We are the founding clan of the Oblivion Alliance and hold strong bonds with many other clans on the server. We are mostly a PvP clan these days, but do raid bosses on a regular basis to keep members equipped and to keep our rep points up.

As many people will tell you, i am very easy to get along with - assuming you don't break my rules. For the most part, all i ask is for you to put your basic materials and any gear you don't use into the clan warehouse for others to benefit from. I will always share what i have with you so i expect the same in return. One thing that pisses me off to no end is someone selling something in town, like an A grade weapon for self profit. We are a clan together, and if you want to be on your own, find a new clan leader to use for his buffer. My philosophy is still that everyone should be equipped properly - that's what a clan is for. We have to watch each others' backs. Again... if you want to be a lone wolf, this is not the clan for you.

As far as war goes, if you join us, expect to be a target for many other clans. I do not accept whiners or beggars, so if i see you doing either, you will be dropped and subsequently put on the KOS list. We have 2 castles to defend in this alliance and I expect you to be at every siege possible. I realize people have lives so if you can't make it, just let me know asap so i can plan accordingly.

We use Ventrilo to communicate. This is VITAL. I don't expect you to talk, but i need you to listen. You can learn a lot from just listening to what some of the others have to say.

Other that that, I will allow ONE alt in the clan IF THERE IS ROOM. There is always room in the academy for a new alt, but if you are just going to play that new alt here and there, don't be surprised if you don't get a re-invite or kicked.

From what i can see the Continuum Clan and the Legacy Alliance have been the most active, the most friendly and the most helpful (too noobs especially) on this server. I've been looking for an active clan with friendly members that are here just to play the game and participate in all the events on this server. Continuum seems to be this clan.

2. Tell us about yourself ingame (class/lvl, our recruiting policy is 65+) and out of game. Let us know what kind of addition you will make to the clan.

As stated, I'm a Hawkeye/69 planning on subbing a Bishop. Upon joining any clan/group i believe in the ideal that you should only take only as much as you have given, and you should at least attempt to give more if you've already taken a lot. With this, i plan on providing whatever i can from advice, to helping clan members with getting mats, a fun member in PvP/E or just providing comic relief on vent.

3.Include your in game history.

As for lineage 2, i've played for only about 3 weeks. But i've played numerous other games such as games by NCSoft and WoW among others. I've done large scale PvE's similar to raids in these games and participated in PvP as well. As for L2 itself, i'm pretty comfortable with the workings of PvE, but i would like to better myself in the PvP part of this MMO as i've never experienced Sieges or the like.

4. Let us know who directed you here and what members you have already played with.

Mainly just listening to world chat i learned about you guys, as well as the forums. I am not sure if i've played with anyone from Continuum lol. Definitely from Legacy though heh that's all i know.

I live in Canada, Quebec more specifically and I must be one of the few rare dozen that isn't fluent in french :p. I have both vent and a mic and I'm a bit on the talkative side especially if I like the people on :p. I'm 15 and a mix of Italian and what my dad is (tons of stuff). I play some other games which I take seriously, those being dota and civilization :p.

I'd like to join Continuum because it's professional and from what I can tell is a somewhat serious clan which is what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a clan that partipates in stuff like killing raidbosses somewhat frequentlu and knows what they're doing but doesn't cut off your manhood if you make a little mistake.

Ingame I'm friendly and always looking for a party. I don't mind switching classes and I'd love to start over as a SK if you guys need a tank. I'm not the most knowledgable player and I do ask a bit of questions but I give out help when I can. I hate beggars especially in servers like this were adena farming is easy and its easy enough to play with no grade until 40. What I'd be able to contribute is myself, someone who can hold his own in mass PvPs, play a crucial role in PvEs and wouldn't mind helping out dwarves with his spare mats and will hopefully be a good member

I've been playing Lineage since early C4 but back then I played with friends so it was only like 30 of us on at one time and I knew all the gms well and there was a gm shop/custom teleporter and high rates so there was no grind and no skill needed, I played lightly for around 2 months. Then the server shut down and didn't play for about 5 months, I played a bit on private servers for about 2 weeks and then I took a break until C5 and I played with the same friends again, thats when I stopped being a noob, participated in some PvP events and raids and such then I stopped playing until now.

Came here from the clan section, no particular member. I don't think I've partied with anyone in this clan due to you all being high level :p.

I don't think I'll be able to go on for a couple days. Can't install windows till I get my new computer (waiting for my video card to come in) due to me losing my xp cd and only having a 64 bit version of vista and my current setup is 32 bit. Wine isn't working out too well since I'm on an old version of ubuntu so no lineage until either my video card comes in or I get shipped the new version of linux. But I'll try and get it to work

I know you have no level requirement or anything like that but do you guys have room for a total newb? If so I would love to join the guild. I myself am a single father of 1 and usually will play from monday till friday and on some weekends.
