I just wanted to add this little guide since there are so many daggers :P
This is a Solo PvP guide, not a mass pvp guide for daggers :)
Your dyes are based on the way you play, the number of your enemies, and your own personallity.
When at solo PvP, dyes which should be prefered are:
+4 CON - 4 STR , +4 DEX - 4 STR and +1 DEX -1 STR
Again, these change based on your own playing style, its best if you experiment with different dye settings to see what you find suits you :)
Armors - S grade: Draconic Light set, S80 - Dynasy leather armor Summoner (ALWAYS) Not dagger master. Summoner Gives the following bonus:
Str-2, Con+2, increase Atk. Spd., MaxHP +492. Increase Darkness Resistance +8, increase P. Atk., P. Def. When all set items are enchanted by 6 or higher, P. Def. and MP regeneration rate will increase
Dagger master:
Con-2, Dex+2, Accuracy +4.3, MaxHP +492. Increase Darkness Resistance +8, increase hold resistance, increase atk spd. When all set items are enchanted by 6 or higher, P. Def. and MP regeneration rates will increase.
A weapon with AS Haste is preferrable, however I have found, that Crit Dmg is just as useful in 1vs1.
Weps : A grade - Soul Seperator Crit Dmg, S grade - AS Haste, S80 - Icarus Disperser Crit Dmg.
Solo PvP:
Make sure you have enough HP to challenge multiple enemies. Also make sure that you must able to run whenever you HP bar drops below 35%.
Take advantage on your skills to hide. Take advantage on your skills to evade the others. Attack only when you are sure that the enemy will go down.
Use your mind to take advantage when at 1 vs 1. Dagger classes are those which are played well by the most clever players.
Be sure to stick near to your opponent when he / she is at spawn, and don't give him / her a second to attack. Your speed is your gift.
Don't be a kamikaze. Rushing and dieing like a retard ain't making you great. It just makes your opponents' PvP count go up.
Learn when to run away to save yourself.
Learn when to stop running.
Learn when to go back.
Learn how to hide and hunt your enemy.
Let the others underestimate you.
Best augment for Solo PvP Would be P. Defence or M. Defence. Another good option would be Evasion / Accuracy / P. Attack.
Use Focus Power. Not Focus Chance.
Practice your movement. Be a constant threat to your target by moving around his / her back, making him / her nervous, making him / her move, lose his / her target and eventually die. Also, do that when dashed for better results. Last, this helps you with the damage, since you give x2.5 damage when hitting from behind of the target.
Be sure to give the 1st hit (Bluff / Critical Wound).
Enchant your Ultimate Evasion's Time and your Vicious Stance's Power.
Don't waste your Ultimate Evasion for nothing.
Play smart.
Choose the right buffs.
Mass PvP:
Main target is ALWAYS the Cardinal (if there is one).
If there is no Cardinal, the next target should be a Wizard with Active skill "Aura Flash". If there is no Wizard, neither Cardinal, the targets should be: 1st Dagger users / 2nd Archers & Dominators / 3rd Other Wizard Classes/ 4th Tank Classes (Titans, Duelists, Grand Khavataries, Hell Knights, Phoenix Knights, Eva's Templar's. Last 3 must be eliminated as the 3rd option if they exist).
Also, you stick close to the Cardinal, if there is 1 in your party
Else, you are the "Scout" of your party. This means that you are the one who will run to find enemies since you got high HP, high Evasion.
Bluff as the 1st skill, then Critical Wound, Lethal Blow, Backstab, Deadly Blow (Backstab should be used only when the target has his/her back turned to you. Else you just waste your usefull MP, which go down way too fast).
Be sure to check whether Critical Wound has landed or not. If not, hesitate and use it again, because its effects are usefull for any warrior damage dealer.
Stay on spawn according to your enemy. If there are Wizards / Cardinals / Archers, you can stay. If there are Tanks and Dagger users, let them make the 1st step towards death.
Lure the enemies. "Abuse" your speed to lure enemies towards your party.
Make sure you don't go way to far from your party. Your speed is a gift which must be used with technique. Else this can cost you your death, even the dissolvation of your party.
Learn who to chase. Archers can slow you, or can have speed equal to yours. Then they can kill you taking advantage on their range, which is 1000+. Chase an Archer only when you are sure that he will be the one to lick the floor. Always inform your party that you will be do some "hunting".
Make an assist macro, preferably in Party Chat (#Assist me on --> %target)
Be the main assist giver when you will be fast enough to be able to "watch" the PvP and when you will be fast enough to switch between targets.
Enjoy :)
